Reminiscent of Malenda’s previous project for the Tennessee State Museum reproducing the great Impressionists of the 19th century, she has now embarked on a project to paint in the style of the great post impressionist, Henri Toulouse-Lautrec. These classic works demonstrate Malenda's skills with color, style and technique and are the result of her live painting in the Toulouse Lounge in a resort on the island on which she lives.
