Pre-2000 Portrait

Pre-2000 Portrait

Artist Malenda Trick’s paintings from before 2000 are finally here.  This is the first of many paintings by Artist Malenda Trick from pre-2000 that will be featured on her blog, The Rennaissance Woman.  Stop by the blog and sign up for notifications so you don’t miss any other pre-2000 paintings!

While living in Nashville Malenda continued her career as an Artist.  She painted nonstop and soon became a leader in portraits.  This picture is only one of many portraits that she did before 2000.

The portrait is truly amazing in terms of quality and detail.  The completely different looks of the face in each portrait gives each subject his or her own character and presence.  In the future there will be posts of more prominent subjects to include President George W. Bush.

Check back to this blog for more pre-2000 paintings.  Please comment if you know who the woman is.

About Malenda

Malenda Trick, a preacher’s daughter, born in Dayton, Ohio and raised in Tyler, Texas has painted professionally for over 40 years. Malenda specializes in 19th century impressionism. She learned to paint in the style of the old masters like: Monet, Renoir, Cezanne, Sisley and Van Gogh, when she was commissioned by collectors to reproduce their works. Her aggressive style employs bold, flowing lines, vibrant colors and stimulating textures, which she feels capture the essence of contemporary life.
