About Malenda
Malenda Trick, a preacher’s daughter, born in Dayton, Ohio and raised in Tyler, Texas has painted professionally for over 40 years. Malenda specializes in 19th century Impressionism. She learned to paint in the style of the Old Masters like: Monet, Renoir, Cezanne, Sisley and Van Gogh. She was commissioned by collectors to reproduce their works. Her aggressive style employs bold, flowing lines, vibrant colors and stimulating textures, which she feels capture the essence of contemporary life.
